Katie Henson is our graduate student leader and is a PhD student ('25) in the Biology department. She contributes her time to Muser as volunteer service. Her roles in Muser are to promote and facilitate the usage of Muser by research mentors, bridge the gap in communication between mentors and mentees, and give advice based on feedback from undergraduates to mentors posting projects. She is a member of Dr. Stephen Nowicki's animal communication lab studying how birds utilize feather color and pattern to attract mates.
